Join the student Inter Africana Studies and The Trout Gallery for an interactive afternoon featuring: Informal conversations, art activity, snack.

Join the Department of Africana Studies and The Trout Gallery for an evening of:

  • Art Chats: informal conversations facilitated by Africana Studies Interns and Trout Gallery Student Interpreters 
  • Making History: a hands-on art activity that allows participants to re-write history from a new perspective 
  • Apps-To-Go: All participants receive a locally sourced appetizer-to-go box  

When: Saturday November 13
Time: 1-2:30 P.M.
Where: The Trout Gallery, Weiss Center for the Arts 

Art chats will feature works of art in the current Trout Gallery exhibitions: 

Horace Pippin: Racism and War and Tracing Slavery: Moses Williams and Kara Walker
