Engage in body-mind techniques for calming anxiety.
Feeling anxious in these unpredictable times and struggling to practice focus and calm? Has it been difficult to interrupt worrying and be present? This group will meet weekly to engage in body-mind techniques for calming anxiety. Each meeting will begin with deep breathing and then focus on a relaxation exercise, a guided visualization, or a therapeutic mindfulness technique. Beginners welcome. No need to attend every week, drop-ins welcome. Students, staff, faculty, all members of the Dickinson community welcome.
Meetings will be in person, as health protocols permit, but there is also an option to join virtually. Enroll and sign-up in Totara.
