Trip Spotlight: Southwest National Parks – a Discovery of America’s Natural Wonders

November 8, 2021

Professor Susan Rose ’77, P’13, and an Orbridge travel specialist will share details about our upcoming Alumni Global Adventures trip to the American Southwest (May 11-19, 2022).

This webinar is for those who want to learn more about this trip as well as those who already registered for this adventure. It’s amazing how much there is to see and do in the Southwest region—taking in the breathtaking vistas of the Grand Canyon, photographing the millions of hoodoos in Bryce Canyon, hiking in the beautiful Antelope Slot Canyon, river rafting on the Colorado River through Glen Canyon, four-wheel driving through Monument Valley—and you’ll have a chance to enjoy it all during this trip. Professor Rose is co-director of the Carlisle Indian School Digital Resource Center, and she will add to your learning experience by sharing her research in Indigenous studies and the lessons we can learn from Indigenous communities across the country. Join us to learn more about the trip itinerary and health and safety protocols. Feel free to invite family and friends to this webinar who may be interested in traveling with you. Please submit any questions you may have about the trip using this form so we can address them during the webinar. The Zoom link will be sent to registrants on the morning of the event. Please register by Sunday, Nov. 7.
