Danes are some of the happiest people in the world, and they also happen to have a lot of cool words for ways to be happy. You may have heard about hygge, which has been the subject of countless books, articles and commercials. Often mistranslated to mean “cozy,” it really describes the process of creating intimacy. In this webinar we will talk about hygge as well as other Danish words such as pyt (“don’t worry about it”) and samfundssind (having community spirit or engagement), and overskud (having surplus energy and resources to deal with a problem). We will talk about specific examples of how these words are used by Danes and can connect to well-being for everyone. Registration deadline: April 12.
