Málaga en la Mesa: From the Mountains to the Beach This webinar will discuss the rich diversity of Málaga’s food scene, from the hearty “spoon meals” enjoyed on a winter day in the mountains to beachfront fried and grilled seafood. Málaga is known for its beachfront seafood restaurants (chiringuitos), but many people are unaware of the rich meals that can be found throughout Málaga’s interior. In this class, we will touch briefly on the general gastronomical history of Málaga, pay homage to chiringuitos and explore the meals of the interior, noncoastal areas of the city and province.
