Join Rob Webb ’05, a high-school physics and astronomy teacher, and JoEllen McBride ’04 Ph.D., an astrophysicist, for a family-friendly virtual tour of the October night sky.
Guided by audience questions and using a screen share of Starry Night planetarium software, the speakers will demonstrate where to find planets in the night sky, and will also point out the Orionid meteor shower and a few constellations. If skies are clear and technology is friendly, live views of the open sky will be utilized.
