A 3-part series.
The Office of Student Leadership & Campus Engagement is excited to partner with Access & Disability Services; the Office of LGBTQ Services; and the Center for Sustainability Education for this 3-part series (you do not need to attend all 3 events as they are not sequential).
Interested participants will be sent a document that contains an overview of the Social Change Model for Leadership. Folks will be asked to review this information in order to use the information as a lens through which they will watch the respective documentaries. The films (all available on Netflix) are 1) "Crip Camp"; 2) "Disclosure"; 3) "Chasing Coral." Participants will watch the film(s) on their own time and the actual “event” (which will occur via Zoom) will consist of facilitated discussion about the film itself and how it may connect to the Social Change Model.
