Calling all creatives, thinkers and do-it-yourselfers!
Calling all creatives, thinkers, and do-it-yourselfers: if you're looking for a way to take a load off and enjoy the company of friends, while also competing against each other for bragging rights, look no further! We here at the Mermaid Players thought it would be fun to host a craft challenge -- we'll be giving everyone a specific prompt, a list of supplies to have handy, and one hour to make something awesome. We'll be on a call the whole time so we can check in and chat, but you can do your building off-camera if you want to keep it a surprise until the very end!
Material List (to gather before the event)
1. Tape (any kind!)
2. Sticks (popsicle/pencils/pens/from trees) (up to 10)
3. Paper (up to 10 sheets)
4. Paper clips (up to 15)
5. Fabric (a piece of scrap fabric/old t-shirt/towel) (1)
6. Rubber bands/hair ties (3)
7. Cups (plastic/glass) (2)
8. String (dental floss/thread/rope/ribbon)
9. Cardboard (1-2 boxes worth)
10. Any coloring tools (markers/crayons/colored pencils)
11. Scissors
Don't worry if you don't have exactly everything on the list! Although we want somewhat limited materials to ad d to the challenge and give you a jumping off point for creativity, if you need to make substitutions or add something in that's totally fine.
