An interactive presentation and discussion.
The circulation of viral videos has increased national awareness of racialized violence and police brutality but viewing them can also traumatize viewers. “I can’t watch another one of those videos” is an interactive presentation and discussion that will help participants understand the mental impact of these disturbing images, recognize trauma and triggers, and learn different ways to manage the impact of racial trauma.
