The American Studies department presents Grace Hong lecture "Virtual Violence: Trauma and Memory in Gina Kim's 'Bloodless/Dongducheon'" Korean diasporic filmmaker Gina Kim's virtual reality film "Bloodless/Dongducheun" engages the conditions of life in a 'camptown' near a U.S. military base, specifically recalling the murder of one sex worker.
