Dickinson is focused on Climate Change Needs Behavior Change! November and December bring us the behavior of Purchasing Consciously. We all make purchase choices regularly; from the electronics we buy, to the clothing we wear, to the gifts we give to loved ones and everything in between. The decisions we make are deeply tied to all facets of sustainability: social, economic and environmental. Every item we consume comes from somewhere and the items we choose have associated carbon emissions, environmental waste and labor practices. Let’s focus on purchasing consciously, making things ourselves and ordering less online!
