Mother Nature Network (MMN), the online world's most visited environmental and social-responsibility network, recently named Dickinson’s campus one of its “17 amazing green college campuses.”
With a string of sustainability initiatives—four LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold buildings, the certified organic College Farm and 100 sustainability courses infused throughout the curriculum, to name just a few—Dickinson is regularly recognized as a leader in sustainability operations and education. To come up with its list, MNN compared schools honored by the Center for Green Schools, the Princeton Review and the Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education.
