The Physics Club brings hard science to the art of making ice cream

When you hand members of the Physics Club baking ingredients such as heavy cream, half-and-half, sugar and vanilla, don’t expect them to toss it all into the oven and make a simple dessert. In fact, the treat they decided on was ice cream, but with a big twist: They made it using liquid nitrogen. So check out the process—from “Here we go!” to “It’s delicious”—in the video above.
