Beginning with the 2011-12 plan year, Human Resource Services has partnered with HealthSmart Benefit Solutions (formerly Wells Fargo Third Party Administrators) to enhance Dickinson’s Flexible Spending Account (FSA) program.  The change ensures that you and Dickinson remain current with changing federal legislation and compliance issues regarding health care.  This change also supports the college’s sustainability initiatives, improves efficiencies, and gives you easier access to your funds.

Through a Flexible Spending Account (FSA), you are able to set aside money, before it is taxed, in order to pay for eligible out-of-pocket costs for dependent and health care expenses.

There are two types of FSA's:

  1. Healthcare FSA
  2. Dependent Care FSA
