National Award Honors Carlisle's Civic Engagement Efforts

Dickinson's hometown, Carlisle, Pennsylvania, was recently named an “All-America City” by the National Civic League, a nonprofit that seeks to advance civic engagement and foster equitable, thriving communities. The All-America City Award recognizes communities across the country for their work in civic engagement, collaboration, inclusiveness and innovation.

This accolade is just the most recent honor for the town of Carlisle, which also has been dubbed one of the country's best places to raise a family by Forbes magazine and voted one of America’s “most livable cities.”
