Dickinson’s United Way Campaign has raised more than $26,000 for the United Way of Carlisle & Cumberland County. The funding, which the college helps to provide each year, will enable the nonprofit and its 24 partner agencies to provide vital health care, employment, educational and other assistance programs for the local community.

The campaign runs through the end of the year, so employees who want to join in can still make a gift by completing an online pledge form or by making a gift at and indicating “Dickinson College” in the employer field. Those who prefer a paper pledge form can contact Dottie Warner, director of Conferences & Special Events, at or 717-245-1900.

Because of the generosity of several local companies, all undesignated contributions to the campaign and all contributions designated specifically to any of the United Way’s partner agencies directly benefit these agencies and their programs, as 100% of contributions go to the organizations.
