Tell us why Dickinson stood out to you for your child’s education?

Our daughter, Anchal, graduated this spring as a member of the class of 2019, and we couldn’t be more proud. When we were first looking at schools with her, there were many things that stood out to us. The campus was beautiful, and everyone was incredibly welcoming. We got such a great feeling being on campus. In talking with the staff and students, we learned more about the innovative curriculum and the global emphasis that is embedded in everything Dickinson does. It was a perfect fit for our child.

Can you speak to how Dickinson’s useful liberal-arts education has impacted your child’s experience?

During her four years at Dickinson, our daughter had the chance to experience a breadth and variety of courses. The diverse experiences she received at Dickinson have truly broadened her spectrum and given her a deeper appreciation for the local-global connections that happen every day in our lives.

What inspired your gift to Dickinson?

We have always been very involved with our children’s educational institutions. As members of the Parents Leadership Council, we saw the important and unique role that parents can play in supporting the college. We are proud to support a college that has given so much to our family and helped our daughter grow into the person she is today.

Why do you feel that it is important to give back to Dickinson?

Our daughter leaves Dickinson knowing that she has a well-rounded education and is prepared to take on whatever challenges may face her. Dickinson has contributed immensely to her growth. We want to give back so that others can experience similar enriching experiences at Dickinson.

What is your favorite story from your child’s experience at Dickinson?
