When I first stepped onto South Caicos and saw the old weathered town overlooking the most beautiful turquoise ocean, I knew I would enjoy everything it had to offer. From the untouched wildlife to the limestone cliffs, every day was new and exciting. The beauty of the Big South extended beyond its beaches and into the vibrant coral reefs full of life and secrets that could only be discovered by those fortunate enough to spend a lot of time there. Every evening, fishermen and their families would gather by the docks to relax and watch the sunset. The local music, the sound of the waves and the sight of the orange sky reflecting off of the colorful buildings is a memory that will never fade.
