“I can’t say enough about how good I feel about Dickinson and the education I received and the people that I shared that with. Dickinson is making good decisions and doing the right things, and it’s nice to be able to support that with a gift that makes a difference in students’ lives.” — Gretchen Ernest Brigden ’89

Grew up in northern New Jersey and was the first in her family to go to a residential college. Found her strengths and weaknesses through small classes, a summer in Toulouse and founding a college chapter of Habitat for Humanity. Received MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke and built a career in structured finance. Co-founded macro intelligence 2 partners, an independent research firm. Hired first Dickinson intern this spring and supports the college through scholarships and financial aid.
