Administrative Assessment Annual Calendar
While individual units have long assessed their programs, this calendar represents an attempt to uniformize and systematize these processes, along with giving units a chance to get feedback on their assessment efforts. Each summer, the AIR office will work with Senior Staff and the Assessment Committee to review these dates and make necessary changes.
- By August 15 – Each administrative unit submits annual assessment report to Division Head and Assessment Committee.
- By October 1 – Division Heads approve and submit feedback to Committee/Unit. Also reports any relevant KPIs (either department or divisional) to the AIR office.
- By December 1 – Committee reviews a random sample of reports as well as any that are flagged by division heads and gives feedback.
- By January 15 - AIR office updates dashboards on website with appropriate information, as well as keeps records of quantitative metrics used to measure outcomes. Gives report on both internal and external KPIs to Committee and senior staff.
- January to March: Divisions adjust planning and resources when developing the budget in response to assessment results, as appropriate
