Zero Waste Pumpkin Carving

Join us on Tuesday, October 28 during lunch and dinner in the Dining Hall for our pumpkin carving event.

We’ll have a carving station set up in the back of the Dining Hall with all the tools you need to craft your own Halloween creation. Pumpkins are free and are limited to the first 100 guests.

Return on Wednesday at lunch to help us select Dickinson’s favorite pumpkin. Upon entry into the Dining Hall, you will receive a ballot and we ask that you select your favorite pumpkin.

The winning pumpkin will be announced via social media and the winning carver will receive a Downtown Carlisle eatery prize pack.

Pumpkins will be on display through Halloween morning in the Dining Hall. At that time, students may pick up their pumpkins to take to their own Halloween celebrations. Please pick up your pumpkin prior to the end of lunch.

This is a zero waste event and all pumpkin scraps and unclaimed pumpkins will be composted and sent to the Dickinson College Farm.
