What Does Campus Recreation Consist Of?
Recreational Services is comprised of four main component areas:
- Fitness Programs - Group Exercise Classes
- Campus Recreation Programming
- Recreational & Sports Clubs
- Outdoor Education
Student staff members are responsible for familiarizing themselves with all aspects of Recreational Services in order to increase your knowledge of the department and to promote these offerings to our patrons.

OUTDOOR EDUCATION
Outdoor education at Dickinson enhances the student, faculty, and staff experience by providing resources for them to explore the greater Carlisle region and beyond. The Recreational Programs Office works closely with the Dickinson Outing Club to build students' leadership and backcountry skills, so they have the experience necessary to lead incredible trips for fellow Dickinson community members. Trips include outdoor pre-orientation, fall pause and spring break excursions, and skill building workshops throughout the fall and spring semesters.
CAMPUS RECREATION PROGRAMMING BOARD
Campus Recreation Programming Board (CRRP) provides an opportunity for students, staff and faculty members to participate in fun, competitive activities ranging from one day tournaments to late night programming in the Kline
SPORT CLUBS
Sport clubs are student organizations created by the students and may be competitive, recreational, or instructional in nature.
GROUP FITNESS CLASSES
Group fitness classes are free to students and focus on fun, safety and wellness.
