There are a few great reasons to apply to the college of your choice in the Early Decision round—being included in a smaller pool of applicants and finding out sooner if you’ve been admitted being high on the list. But often it’s just the best way to go full steam toward the college you think is the perfect fit.

For Allison Miller ’20, finding a school committed to sustainability with one of the most robust global approaches on earth was a dynamic one-two punch. And a tour of Dickinson’s historic campus sealed her decision to apply Early Decision.

“If you’re applying Early Decision, I highly recommend Dickinson,” says Miller, who participated in the Climate Change & Human Security Mosaic in Nepal and also studied abroad in Bhutan. “Dickinson has exceeded my expectations, [and] after spending three years here, it’s been amazing.”
