Diverse Musical Offerings in April Performances

Dickinson faculty and students will take the stage for concerts and plays in April. All of the events are free and open to the public.

Noonday Concerts
Thursday, April 12, and Thursday April 19, noon

These concerts feature the accomplished students of the performance studies and chamber music programs.

The Dickinson College Orchestra
Sunday, April 15, 4 p.m.
First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 21 S. Bedford St., Carlisle

The Dickinson College Orchestra (Robert Pound, director) will perform a concert featuring the two winners of the 2017-18 Student Concerto Competition. Morgan Bates ’18 will play Haydn’s Trumpet Concerto and Alicia Bazell ’18 will perform the Carmen Fantasy.

The Dickinson College Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Jeffrey Wohlbach, presents a concert of jazz standards.

These concerts feature students who have been working in chamber ensembles coached by music faculty.
