I have been a group fitness instructor for more than a decade, teaching body blast, yoga, aerobics, and spinning classes in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area and now in Central Pennsylvania. As a lifelong athlete and trained massage therapist, I believe in fitness as an integral component of a balanced life. I am committed to helping students find that balance by helping them reach their fitness goals through encouragement and positive reinforcement.
Hi, I'm Fiona Clarke, a member of the class of 2019. This is my first semester teaching Zumba; I've taken classes for the past three semesters, and decided to become certified once I learned that the previous instructor would be graduating. The official catchphrase of the Zumba franchise is "Ditch the Workout, Join the Party" and, cheesy as that may be, I've found it to be true. After drifting through classes in Ballet, Contemporary, Swing, and Ballroom, I can honestly say that Zumba is an incredibly low-pressure, fun way to dance and stay in shape.
