I have been a group fitness instructor for more than a decade, teaching body blast, yoga, aerobics, and spinning classes in the Washington, D.C., metropolitan area and now in Central Pennsylvania. As a lifelong athlete and trained massage therapist, I believe in fitness as an integral component of a balanced life. I am committed to helping students find that balance by helping them reach their fitness goals through encouragement and positive reinforcement.
I'm Jenni Moore, and I've been teaching Pilates here at Dickinson for the last 8 years. I started practicing Pilates in the mid-90s, but it wasn't until I was in a car accident in 2000 that I really saw the transformative effect Pilates can have. After becoming certified a decade ago, I am still just as excited about getting down on my mat and doing a practice as when I first started. I've seen some of the most amazing changes happen to people when they stick with it, gaining strength from the inside out. Pilates is for everyone, and I'm excited to be part of the group fitness classes here at Dickinson.
Hi, I’m Kara Dixon and I am a member of the Class of 2020. I have been teaching spinning classes since August 2017. My classes are strong, energetic, and motivating. I love to create new playlists and choreograph my classes to upbeat music. I encourage you to build your endurance and push yourself a little further during your ride. I am a Mad Dogg Spinning Certified Instructor and CPR-AED certified.
