Health Studies Student Research Projects

I recently started working at U Penn as a research assistant in the school of medicine. Our research mainly focuses on women's cancer (breast and ovarian) and disparities in health care, for example one of our current projects focuses on disparities in access to breast cancer testing based on race. The Health Studies Certificate Program - and my wonderful classes in  medical sociology! - were successful in helping me find a career in health!
