Vera Pavlova first visited Carlisle as a speaker for the Sirena International Poetry Festival in the fall of 2004.
Pavlova returned to Dickinson College in 2005, 2007, 2008, and most recently in 2013, when she conducted a workshop on poetry translation with Dickinson Russian majors. Watch her read her poetry at the 2008 Semana Poética International Festival:
