Intramurals and Recreation at Dickinson offer students the opportunity to participate in activities that promote physical, social and emotional wellness. Students can have fun competing against fellow classmates during intramural sports; be a member of a sport club; stay fit with our fitness offerings; or be part of other exciting recreational opportunities that enhance their student experience.
Outdoor education at Dickinson enhances the student, faculty, and staff experience by providing resources for them to explore the greater Carlisle region and beyond. The Recreational Programs Office works closely with the Dickinson Outing Club to build students' leadership and backcountry skills, so they have the experience necessary to lead incredible trips for fellow Dickinson community members. Trips include outdoor pre-orientation, fall pause and spring break excursions, and skill building workshops throughout the fall and spring semesters.
Intramural sports provide an opportunity for students, staff and faculty members to participate in fun, competitive activities ranging from one day tournaments to multiple week leagues.
Sport clubs are student organizations created by the students and may be competitive, recreational, or instructional in nature.
