16th Annual Local Food Dinner

Join the Dickinson College Farm for our annual culinary celebration of local farmers and an intimate, all-local dinner experience with keynote speaker Shannon Hayes.

Tickets include an all-local meal from dinner to dessert with vegan/vegetarian and meat options available. The 2019 Local Food Dinner will feature local foods prepared by Chef Duane Miller.

This year, the College Farm is excited to feature Shannon Hayes as our Keynote Speaker. Shannon Hayes (also known as “The Radical Homemaker”) works with three generations of her family producing grass-fed meats in upstate New York. She writes on the topics of sustainable meat production and homemaking as an ecological movement. Shannon is the author of six books, including The Grassfed Gourmet, The Farmer and the Grill, and Cooking Grassfed Beef, and blogs regularly on "The Radical Homemaker." Shannon holds a Ph.D. from Cornell University, where she studied sustainable agriculture and community development.

Doors open at 6pm, dinner will begin promptly at 6:30pm. Tickets and menu are available here
