Come explore solar energy at Dickinson. Discover how the 12 acres of new solar panels will help us meet our goal of Carbon Neutrality in 2020, and be one of the first to visit the solar field!

Faculty, staff, and students are invited to join us in exploring the new array of solar panels at Dickinson College. All are welcomed to this workshop where we will learn, practice and act around the topic of renewable solar energy and carbon neutrality. All participants will contribute to the conversations and learn from Ken Shultes, Associate Vice President for Sustainability and Facilities Planning, exactly what these solar panels will do for Dickinson, how much it will cost the college, and how the whole power purchasing agreement works. There will also be a short tour of the solar field and the potential to meet with Tesla installation representatives. Come be a part of Dickinson’s first picture with the new solar panels!
