What drives Dickinsonians to use plastic bags and how we can work together to change behaviors that reduce their use? How many bags are we using on campus and for what?

Faculty, staff, and students are invited to join us in exploring plastic bag use at Dickinson College. All are welcomed to this workshop where we will learn, practice and act around the topic of plastic bag reduction. All participants will contribute to various campus-wide campaigns to create action including T-shirt tote bag making, creative signage, and developing innovative behavior change incentives. If you would like to make a t-shirt tote bag, bring an old T-shirt! The Sustain IT Workshop Series is designed to create action on an issue of concern through education, networking, and prioritization. Students, faculty and staff participate to learn, discuss current practices and ideas for improvement, and then identify action items that can create positive change towards a more sustainable campus. Eco-Reps are encouraged to attend, but all are welcome. No pre-registration is necessary and feel free to bring your own food. Coordinated by: The Center for Sustainability Education Co-Sponsored by: Eco-Reps, Dickinson Bookstore, Department of Theatre and Dance, The College Farm, and The Makery. for more information, email or check the website
