Working on Sustainability through Passion for Inclusion and Equity

Dickinson’s Social Justice Peer Educators are a dedicated group of trained facilitators who educate Dickinsonians about vital issues related to power, privilege and oppression. How do these critical social issues connect to sustainability at Dickinson? Attend this interactive workshop to see how we can work together to create a more diverse, equitable and inclusive Dickinson community. The Center for Sustainability Education and The Landis Collective will be sponsoring this workshop on social justice and sustainability. Come to learn about key concepts related to inclusion and ways we can create a welcoming community for all! Take the opportunity to broaden your horizons and learn more about the social justice peer educators. This knowledge can be key in the understanding of how you can begin to live a more just, sustainable life. The Sustain IT Workshop Series is designed to create action on an issue of concern through education, networking and prioritization. Students, faculty and staff participate to learn, discuss current practices and ideas for improvement, and then identify action items that can create positive change towards a more sustainable campus. Eco-Reps are encouraged to attend, but all are welcome. No pre-registration is necessary and feel free to bring your own food.
