This documentary chronicles the lives and experiences of a diverse group of Latinx girls. Filmmaker Raquel Cepeda leads them on an eye-opening journey over a four-year period to discover their ancestry and travels with them to the Dominican Republic. A Q&A with Cepeda will follow the screening. Cepeda will also be speaking on Wednesday, October 4 in ATS at 7 p.m. about Remixing the American Dream. Join us for both of these programs in celebration of Latinx Heritage Month! Co-sponsored by the Popel Shaw Center for Race and Ethnicity and the Women's and Gender Resource Center.
