Exams, essays, homework assignments—it is that time of the year. Before your stress reaches an alarmingly high level, speak with a liaison librarian. Librarians are professionals who help library users find information and critically evaluate it, develop a research topic, and cite your sources properly.
There is a librarian available Monday through Friday, as well as on Sundays. Look for the familiar red flag or stop at the Circulation Desk and ask to see a librarian. You may also schedule an individual appointment with a liaison librarian.
SciFinder Scholar is a large collection of information about organic and inorganic substances. Includes references to thousands of journals and patents from more than 61 patent authorities from the mid-1800s to the present. Users can search substances by chemical structures, biological sequences, substructures, or reactions. Contact the Chemistry Liaison Librarian for registration information.
