Dickinson is our campus. Carlisle is our home.
There are towns where the college dominates the landscape. And there are colleges that are truly a part of the community. Visit Dickinson and you’ll need to pay close attention to realize when you’ve left campus and when you’re on the streets of Carlisle. And because of that relationship we’ve always been active members in the community.
Our efforts extend from creating a weekend market selling produce from the College Farm to building hiking and biking trails to providing student volunteers to local service agencies to developing tutoring programs in a local prison. It’s important to us to be there when we’re needed. After all, Carlisle is our home, too.
