Applied Data Intelligence at Dickinson College

The Applied Data Intelligence (ADI) Initiative in the Quantitative Reasoning Center supports students, faculty, and staff in integrating quantitative data analysis into teaching and research across the College.

Through student fellowships, faculty research grants, and professional development workshops, the initiative provides opportunities for individuals of all disciplinary backgrounds to develop quantitative skills and advance data-driven research.

The Applied Data Fellows Program

The AD Fellows Program connects undergraduate students with faculty, staff, and community partners on applied quantitative projects. Fellows receive guidance from professional and technical mentors while gaining hands-on experience and advancing their partners' project goals.

Student-Faculty Research Grants

Student–Faculty Research Grants support intensive, collaborative summer research involving substantive quantitative data analysis. Students and faculty work as co-investigators or co-creators, making substantial contributions throughout the research process.

Professional Development Workshops

Professional development workshops hosted by the Quantitative Reasoning Center provide opportunities for students, faculty, and staff to develop quantitative skills and explore ways to integrate data analysis into teaching and research.
