The fall semester classes will begin on September 1, and run until December 10. There are no classes during Fall Pause or Thanksgiving break. Classes are open to students, faculty, and staff. Students do no need to pre-register to take classes, but please take the time to sign in at every class you attend. If there is an asterisk (*) next to the class name, students are asked to email firstname.lastname@example.org prior to attending the class. Faculty and staff should register through CLIQ, and also make sure to sign in to each class upon arrival.

Body Blast - This high-powered, total body,
conditioning workout set to music works all the major muscle groups of
the body using your own body weight. With some plyometrics to increase
your cardiovascular fitness, this workout will build your endurance and
speed your metabolism for increased fat burning. All fitness levels
Indoor Spinning - This cardiovascular class will get your heart pumping while cycling on indoor stationary bikes using drills, imagery &/or themes. Cycling is a great workout that people of all fitness levels can enjoy.
Pilates - This class will help students gain strength, flexibility and body awareness through a series of exercises designed to greatly improve the core, spinal flexibility and posture. Students will learn targeted exercises that will challenge the whole body, helping them to feel longer and leaner. Through proper breathing techniques, stabilization and alignment, students can achieve better overall health.
Yoga Fusion - Yoga Fusion is designed to improve the health, performance, and mental acuity of athletes or individuals interested in improving their level of fitness. Based on the ancient fitness science of hatha yoga, it blends balance, strength, flexibility and power in a fitness format. Yoga Fusion overcomes the mystery of yoga by delivering a practical, user-friendly style, which is accessible, understandable, and doable by individuals at any level of fitness.
Zumba -Ditch the workout, join the party! Zumba is a fun way to get in shape. With moves inspired by Latin dances like salsa and merengue, Zumba makes it easy to get fit and feel sexy while doing it.
Sport Yoga - Sports Yoga combines active stretching, breathing techniques and a westernized approach to learning and using Yoga poses. Each class is designed to safely increase flexibility, improve mental focus/relaxation and increase strength. With a regular practice of Sports Yoga all activities, including athletics, become easier.
Vinyasa Flow Yoga - Vinyasa Flow yoga fuses breath and movement to cultivate grace, flexibility and balance of body and mind. From breath work and meditation, the practice moves through smart, inventive sequences designed to focus the mind and energize the body. This class will challenge you where you are, with modifications and options for all levels. The only prerequisites for this mindfulness practice are an open mind and a sense of humor.
Qi Yoga - Qi Yoga offers the benefits of both Indian and Chinese practices of Yoga and Qi Gong. By moving slowly and mindfully, we are able to improve the energy flow in our bodies, create new neurological pathways and bring balance into the body, mind and spirit. This class is for all levels of fitness as well as people with chronic medical conditions including back problems, joint issues, cancer, heart disease, asthma and arthritis. Come and learn for yourself the healing nature of this relaxing and rejuvenating practice.
Dynamic Fusion - Gain length, strength, and flexibility through a series of blended traditional moves combined with the exercises of moving arts such as Pilates, Tai Chi, and dance. This class will have a standing portion focusing on strength training and balance as well as mat work for core and flexibility.
Kline Spinning Studio - Enter the Kline through the lobby on Cherry Street. Go up the stairs and follow the walkway that leads to the swimming pool, rock wall, and main gym floor. Pass the check in desk, and the Spinning Studio is on the second floor on the right.
HUB Dance Studio - The HUB dance studio is located in the lower level of the HUB. Walking from the mailboxes, you will take a right directly before the microroom. Follow the hall to the end, and you will arrive at the studio.
CPYB Studio 4 - The Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet Studio is located next to Project Share. Walk down West Louther Street toward the Kline Fitness Center. Continue across the intersection with Cherry Street. Once you pass the Treehouse and get to the sign for the Dickinson College Children's Center, you can follow the road that leads into the Children's Center and continue on this road towards the Facilities Management building and Project Share. This is where the studio is located.
Physical Education Credit
Students may earn PE credit towards the graduation requirement by attending 22 of the same type of class over the duration of a semester. For example, you must attend 22 zumba classes or 22 pilates classes. To get PE credit, you must simply sign in to every class you attend. The instructor does not need to sign anything. At the end of the semester, every student that has signed into 22 classes will receive one PE credit. You will be notified during finals week of each semester if you met the requirement for credit. You make only use group fitness classes as PE credit two times.
Please fill out this form to indicate your interest in receiving PE credit for the current semester. This simply means that we will let you know at the end of the semester whether you met the requirement or not.
