Dickinson College is preparing to move to a new generation of the Gateway portal.  We are very excited that the new Gateway will be an integral part of the college web site instead of a separate system.  This will make it far easier for students, faculty, and staff to navigate between secure portal content and public web content.

We will be switching over to the new Gateway at the end of September to avoid change at a time when many important activities are occurring for the start of the academic year.  We want users to have a chance to get to know the new Gateway before the end of September; therefore, we are making the new Gateway available to everyone starting today, Wednesday, July 30.

For the next two months, you have the option to sign in to the traditional Gateway or the new Gateway.  You may choose the traditional Gateway if you want to quickly get to a function that is familiar to you.  That’s fine with us!  We encourage you to find some time to log in to the new Gateway and look around.  We think that you will find it easy to navigate. Links to log in to either system are on the left of this page. Some introduction to the new Gateway is below.

We hope that you will appreciate the possibilities that the new Gateway brings.  We will be working throughout August and September to polish out any rough spots that may come to light before the big switch.  If you encounter any difficulties while trying the new Gateway, please send a message to the Help Desk (helpdesk@dickinson.edu).  They will see that it makes its way to someone who can help you.
