As the college application cycle begins, we invite you to join admission staff from three colleges across the country for tips, tricks and best practices on what a college search looks like in this new normal. As you wrestle with the big questions of your college search, we'll be with you to talk through them and provide advice to jump start your college search.

- And, when I find the right college, how do I afford it? October 21
Each Zoom meeting will be held at 4:30-6 p.m. PST / 5:30-7 p.m. MT / 6:30-8 p.m. CST / 7:30-9 p.m. EST. Students, parents, school counselors and staff from community-based organizations are all welcome.

Meet the Presenters
Angie Fernandez Barone is director of admissions communications at Dickinson College in Carlisle, Pennsylvania. Angie has worked in college admissions at her alma mater for 31 years and has seen three of her own children through college searches. She loves reading, traveling and working with groups in her community and on her campus which support access, healthy transitions, diversity, inclusivity and equity. She thrives on helping students and parents understand the college admissions and financial-aid processes to successfully navigate them.
Lorenzo Gamboa is senior associate director of admission at Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, California. Lorenzo has been working in college admission at his alma mater for 16 years. He loves boxing, the outdoors, long walks on the beach, star gazing, Meixcan music, home remodel projects but most of all helping students, families and veterans understand the opportunities of higher education. As an underrepresented first generation student himself, he uses his experiences to clarify the common assumptions and fears one may have when considering this process.
Rae-Anne Mena is assistant director of admission at Saint Louis University in St. Louis, Missouri. Rae-Anne has been working in college admission for the past 24 years at four different colleges and universities. She has experience in working with everything from schools that have a selective admission process, to schools that require an audition for the music program, to schools that are NCAA Division I. Seeing the process through a variety of lenses, Rae-Anne is passionate about reminding students there is a college for everyone and enjoys helping students find their right fit.
