Sedimentology Equipment

The sedimentology equipment is housed in our Wet Lab (K152A) with the following devices:

• Horiba LA-930 Laser Scattering Particle Size Analyzer
• Armfield S8-MKII Recirculating Flume
• Tyler Ro-Tap sieve shaker for 3 and 8 inch sieves
• 2 complete sets of 3 inch sieves and a partial set of 8 inch diameter sieves
• Emriver EM3 Geomodel Stream Table
• Wave Tank
• JEOL JSM5900 Scanning Electron Microscope with Oxford EDS
