Depictions of Land, City and Sea

An exhibition exploring the concept of represented and perceived space in paintings, prints, drawings and photographs will be on display at The Trout Gallery from Feb. 28 through April 11. The gallery will host an opening reception for the exhibition, “Framing Space—Depictions of Land, City and Sea,” on Friday, Feb. 28, from 5 to 7 p.m. The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public.

The artworks displayed in Framing Space come from the gallery’s permanent collection. The exhibition is cocurated by senior art history majors Kaila Basile, Ashlyn Buffum, Bizz Fretty, Hannah King and Natura Sant Foster, under the direction of Professor of Art History Melinda Schlitt.

The Trout Gallery hours: Monday-Saturday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
