Dickinson College Musicians to Perform Diverse Slate of Concerts in November

Dickinson College students and faculty will perform six concerts in November, including jazz, chamber music and orchestral works. All are free and open to the public.

Noonday Concerts
Thursdays, Nov. 1 and 15, at noon
Rubendall Recital Hall, Weiss Center for the Arts, 240 W. High St.

These concerts feature students in Dickinson’s performance studies and chamber music programs.

The Dickinson College Jazz Ensemble
Friday, Nov. 16, 7 p.m.
Rubendall Recital Hall, Weiss Center for the Arts, 240 W. High St.

The Dickinson College Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Jeffrey Wohlbach, presents a concert of jazz standards.

Dickinson College Chamber Music Concerts I & II
Tuesday, Nov. 27, and Thursday, Nov. 29, at noon
Rubendall Recital Hall, Weiss Center for the Arts, 240 W. High St.

These concerts feature students who have been working in chamber ensembles coached by music department faculty.

The Dickinson College Orchestra
Friday, Nov. 30, 7 p.m.
First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 21 S. Bedford St.

The Dickinson College Orchestra (Robert Pound, director) will feature faculty soloist Michael Cameron performing Max Bruch’s Kol Nidrei Cello Concerto and Student Concerto Competition-winner Anna Ferry '19 performing Henryk Wieniawski’s Violin Concerto No. 2.
