How I got this internship:

I got this internship by networking with Dickinson alumni, faculty, staff and parents. 

What I do, day to day:

I perform general research for upcoming events in order to inform the public about environmental efforts as well as creating my own campaigns.

Most valuable part of this experience:

I have been able to take on a lot of leadership roles by creating my own campaigns within the organization as well as improve my communication skills in order to make these campaigns possible.

Advice for students considering internships:

It doesn't really matter what the internship is, as long as you are getting good experience with great staff.

How this internship has helped me:

I think this was a great first internship experience and really gives me the opportunity to grow for future internships I take on.
