For Dickinson’s third Day of Giving, Tuesday, April 25, we’re asking Dickinsonians around the world to step up, tap into our shared Dickinson pride and come together to outdo all of our past efforts by making 3,000 gifts to the college in 24 hours.

During the last two Days of Giving, alumni, parents, students, faculty and staff around the globe showed that great things happen when Dickinsonians come together. This spring, let’s show what happens when we come together and step up our efforts to reach Dickinson’s most ambitious goal yet!

Step up to the Challenge(s)

This year's Day of Giving features several challenges that could unlock $100,000 in additional funding for the college.

Rush Hour Challenge: With 500 gifts between 7 and 9 a.m., we can unlock $10,000 in funding, thanks to a challenge gift from Kevin Holleran ’73.

Power Lunch Challenge: With 400 gifts between noon and 2 p.m., we can unlock $10,000 in funding, thanks to a challenge gift from Abbegayle and Michael Morrow '05.

Reunion Alumni Challenge: With 400 gifts from alumni celebrating a reunion year (class years ending in a 2 or 7), we can unlock $50,000, thanks to a challenge gift from George and Jennifer Ward Reynolds '77.

Young Alumni Challenge: With 500 gifts from graduates of the last 10 years (2007-2016), we can unlock $20,000, thanks to a challenge gift from the Class of 2007 Reunion Committee.

Parent Challenge: We can unlock $10,000, thanks to an anonymous current parent, if we reach 500 gifts from parents of current students and alumni.

Campus Challenge – Students vs. Faculty vs. Staff:  To help inspire campus community members to join in the effort, this year's Day of Giving features a challenge for faculty, staff and students. Whichever group has the highest giving participation percentage on the Day of Giving will win the competition and lead the way in showing the wider community of alumni, parents and friends how "great things happen when Dickinsonians come together."

Note: A single gift could count toward multiple challenges. For example, if a member of the class of 2007 makes a gift at 7:00 a.m., the gift will count toward three challenges: Rush Hour, Reunion Alumni and Young Alumni.
