Join us in celebration of the end of the high-holiday season.
The Asbell Center for Jewish Life welcomes all members of the Dickinson community to join us in celebration of the end of the high-holiday season and the last hours of a day of fasting and prayer. This evening service invokes the special liturgy from the Erev (Eve of) Yom Kippur service as Jews pray one more time in the new year period to be seen as renewed in the Book of Life until the next year. Jewish students will stand for most of this service as a symbol of its importance.
Any and all community members are welcome to attend as we begin the new Jewish calendar.
Immediately follwing dinner please join us for a break-the-fast meal in Stern 102 where Jewish students and community members will be invited to partake in Kosher Catering provided by Dickinson College.
