The Gilman Scholarship for Study Abroad application is now open!
This cycle is for any student starting an abroad program between December 2019-October 2020. To be eligible for this study abroad scholarship, you must be a Pell Grant recipient and a US Citizen. The Center for Global Study and Engagement will be holding two different information sessions about this scholarship to accommodate student schedules. You will be able to learn more about the scholarship as well as information on how to create a competitive application. Even if you are not going abroad during the next few semesters, it is never too early to start preparing. Roughly a third of students who apply are awarded a scholarship, often in the range of $2000 – 5000, so it is well worth pursuing.
