Interested in the nonprofit world? Curious about what types of jobs exist and how nonprofit organizations operate?

Join this informational trip to learn more about the nonprofit field and hear from Dickinson alumni and others working in various capacities with nonprofit organizations. Through this trip participants will learn the following:

  • how Dickinson alumni got into the field and what they do in their jobs
  • skills to develop to be a competitive candidate
  • types of positions that often exist in nonprofit organizations
  • strategies for finding opportunities
  • pros and cons of working in nonprofit
  • what you can be doing now to prepare for a career/job in nonprofit

 

Space is limited. To apply please submit a resume and statement of interest to Heather Champion by April 4. Please note - this is an all day trip and therefore you will miss classes. Transportation is provided.
