Professor Claire Seiler will take webinar viewers on a tour of the new Harlem Renaissance-related holdings in the College Archives. We'll see various kinds of materials-from original 1920s print copies of periodicals such as the NAACP's The Crisis to first editions of Jean Toomer's Cane (1923) and Alain Locke's anthology The New Negro (1925)-and hear about how students and faculty are using Dickinson's growing Harlem Renaissance collection in their teaching and research. Claire Seiler is associate professor of English and chairperson of Dickinson's Department of American Studies. This semester, she is teaching "Celtic Revival/Harlem Renaissance," from which this webinar is partly drawn. This will be an interactive discussion; participants will have the opportunity to submit questions.

Register by Monday, March 25 at noon. Note: All registrants will receive an e-mail the day of the event with instructions on how to view the webinar.
