Trout Ambassador Meetings

May 2, 2019

Requires a one-semester commitment.

Trout Gallery Museum Ambassadors provide a conduit between museum exhibitions and programs and the larger Dickinson and Carlisle Community.   They attend bi-monthly meetings (Thursdays 12-1:15 p.m.) to learn about museum operations, programs and new exhibitions,  and help the museum promote the museum to a broader audience.  Ambassadors plan the yearly Trout Gala, a student event celebrating the achievements of student contributors to the museum.  Ambassadors receive Trout Fan benefits as well as docent training, and a budget to plan student-centered Gallery events. Experience as a Museum Ambassador provides excellent background experience for paid and internship positions at The Trout Gallery. 1-2 hours per week.

Located in the Mumper Stuart Education Center in the basement of Weiss.
