In remembering our founder, Dr. Benjamin Rush, this mid-day stroll is a fitting activity for National Walking Day! According to historical records, Dr. Rush encouraged patients "to sew, garden, listen to music or exercise during the day."* For National Walking Day, we encourage you to take 30 minutes to join us and follow the lead of George Stroud, vice president for student life, to stretch your legs and fill your lungs with some fresh air and sunshine!
